A shared wallet has two kinds of participants: the owner — the person who created the wallet and sends invitations — and invited members.
A rule that applies to everyone
Everyone can see each other's transactions, but nobody can edit or delete someone else's transaction — not even the owner. Your own transaction is edited as usual; someone else's opens in view mode, with the fields inactive.
Only the owner can
- invite participants and delete the wallet;
- change wallet settings;
- add categories and tags;
- create budgets.
Every participant can
- add their own transactions, debts and scheduled transactions;
- view budgets and create reports;
- an invited member can leave the wallet at any time.
Debts are visible only to the person who created them — other people's debts are not shown in a shared wallet.
Every participant needs Premium. A shared wallet is a premium feature, and one subscription does not cover two people: each participant needs their own. See “How does Premium work in a shared wallet?” for details.
